Alltech's Sel-Plex® cleared for use in Bison

[Lexington, KY] – The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the United States recently presented Alltech a letter of non-objection for the use of Sel-Plex 'in complete feed, salt-mineral mixtures for free-choice feeding, and feed supplements for limit feeding to bison (buffalos).' This registration regulation allows producers and owners of bison herds to offer Sel-Plex in a wide range of applications.

Alltech blogs fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa

Sel-Plex® - Authorised for use in the European Union

[Dublin, Ireland]  Alltech is delighted to announce that Sel-Plex - has just received authorisation as a nutritional feed additive for use in all species diets, from the European Union (EU) under EU regulation 1750/2006. Sel-Plex is a selenized yeast produced by Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-3060.  Sel-Plex is the only product of its kind to have received this authorisation.

Sel-Plex® receives free choice allowance

[Lexington, Kentucky] - Alltech’s organic selenium, Sel-Plex®, recently received free choice allowance in livestock diets from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

This registration regulation allows producers and beef cattle owners to offer the mineral in a loose granular form, providing a full range of feeding applications. Sel-Plex is an organic selenium yeast produced by Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-3060.

Selenium plays an important role in beef cattle diets. This nutrient supports a healthy reproductive system, meat quality, and shelf life for beef products.

FDA Clears Alltech's Sel-Plex Selenium Source for Dogs

[Lexington, Ky.] – The Food and Drug Administration recently gave Alltech a letter of non-objection, allowing the use of Sel-Plex in canine diets.
