Form

The source and form of selenium in a diet can greatly influence the desired outcome of animal health and performance. The traditional (inorganic) form has been fed to animals for decades, however, this form does not meet modern performance demands. It is poorly absorbed and retained by the animal, so what goes in, rapidly comes out. The animal does not benefit, and this costs the industry—and you—time and money.

Because of its specific organic form, Sel-Plex selenium is better absorbed and retained by the animal. Yeast, unlike animals, is able to produce the same selenium compounds that exist in plants, which provide selenium in its safest form.
