Administrative Assistant - NE Calgary, Alberta CA

Key responsibilities include:
- Daily customer and inter-office correspondence
- Travel arrangements/scheduling for the Sales Team
- Meeting planning and follow-up; both large and small scale meeting. Must be able to anticipate needs and ensure everything runs smoothly.
- General office work: phones, faxing, filing and mail-outs
- Sales Reporting: Proficiency in MS Excel is a necessity.
- Support Sales Team in their continued effort to promote the Alltech Brand in the Global Marketplace.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Previous office experience is an asset; 1-3 years experience preferred.
- Must have a high school diploma; Preference will be given to those with post-secondary experience; this position is extremely well-suited to anyone with a B.A. or a B.Sc.
- Must be proficient in MS Office Applications (especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Must have excellent typing skills; some dictation is required.
- Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage time and people efficiently and effectively; the ability to multi-task is a necessity.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as in a group environment.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and fun individual looking for a challenging position in a dynamic global organization.
